Ruth M. List

Frankenmuth, MI

Went to be with her Lord Wednesday September 1, 2021 at Covenant Medical Center Harrison; age 99 years. Ruth was born on September 14, 1921 in Saginaw, MI to the late Edward and Alma Bickel. She was married to Earl Larson who predeceased her on December 29, 1967. She later married Ralph List who predeceased her on November 8, 2019. Ruth was a member of Peace Lutheran Church as an office administrator. She belonged to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church and she helped found Breakthrough Bible Class. Ruth was President of the Peace Lutheran Ladies Guild, founded the library at Peace Lutheran School, and was a Girl Scout Leader.

Surviving are children Christine (Dr. Robert Jr.) Taylor of Rogers City, MI, Kathleen (Robertson) Walls of Clinton Township, MI, Jean (Gary) Peters of Traverse City, MI, Rick (Karen) List of Frankenmuth, MI, Frank (Vicki) List of Frankenmuth, MI; 12 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Rev. Joel Kaiser will officiate. Ruth's family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, or a charity of the donor's choice.
