Sharon K. Dietrich

Saginaw, MI

Went home to her Lord Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at her home after a brief battle with cancer; age 80 years. Sharon Frahm was born on January 16, 1944 in Saginaw, MI to the late Carl and Cornelia Frahm. She married Robert Dietrich on June 19, 1965 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Saginaw. Robert predeceased her on July 2, 2022. Sharon was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Richville, MI, a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. A member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 150, she enjoyed crafting, being a homemaker and was the neighborhood babysitter. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are children Sandra Dietrich, Karen (Jamison) Zehnder, Jeffrey (Jessica) Dietrich, Jennifer (John) Krause; grandchildren Shannon (Daniel) Gruzd, Hunter Krause, Tyler Krause, Mackenzie Talaski, Harper Dietrich, Carson Dietrich, Addisen Dietrich; sister Nancy (Darryl) Sczepanski, sisters-in-law Carol (Ronald) Knoll, Barbara Fletcher, Kathleen (George) Hoffmann and many nieces and nephews.

Sharon was preceded in death by great grandchild DGIII; sister-in-law Arlene (Jack) Bozung, and brother-in-law Gerald Fletcher.

Funeral service will take place on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 3455 S. Van Buren Road, Richville, Michigan.  Rev. Wesley Gillaspie will officiate. A private burial will take place at Eastlawn Memorial Garden Cemetery. Sharon's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, American Cancer Society, or St. Michael's Lutheran School, Richville.
