Passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 25th, 2020, at her home; age 86 years. Shirley Kirby was born on June 18, 1934 in Benton Township, MI to the late Floyd and Bertha Kirby.   She was married to Ross G. Scott on August 8th, 1952; he predeceased her on May 17 th , 1994. Shirley was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fremont, MI as well as a former member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mayville, Mi.

Surviving are her beloved children Beth (Jerry) Roberts of Okemos, MI, Michele (Jeff) Steele of Frankenmuth, MI, Gina (Joel) Pruis of Carmel, IN; grandchildren Christopher (Alyssa) Roberts, Jonathan Roberts and his fiancé Emily Daubert, Emily Roberts and her fiancé Thomas Gohndrone, Alexander Scott, Jacob (Kristin) Pruis, Kirby (Adam) Woodall, Jordan Pruis, Rose Jean (Michael) Easthouse, Carol (Josh) Rosenau, Allison Steele, Robert Steele; great-grandchildren Evelyn Roberts, Clayton Roberts, Nolan Pruis, Charlotte Pruis; brothers and sisters Dorothy Cross, Maxine Mock, Joyce (David) Stewart; and her many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband Ross G. Scott, Shirley was predeceased by her brother and sister William Kirby and Helen Cassidy.

Private funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, December 1 st , 2020, 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Burial will take place at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma, MI. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Lutheran World Relief and the Eastern Michigan Food Bank.
