Stacey Arlene Murrell

Our beautiful and vibrant Stacey Arlene Murrell went home to her heavenly Father on March 6, 2023, with her loving and devoted husband, Mack by her side. Stacey is the daughter of Barbara and Lawrence Judd. She was born in Wayne, Michigan on August 28, 1964. Stacey suffered a burst brain aneurysm on May 3, 2022, and after 10 months of strength, grace and bravery, she entered hospice and went to be with Jesus peacefully and without pain.

Stacey was raised in Plymouth, Michigan, moved to Saginaw, Michigan in the late 1970s, where she attended Douglas MacArthur, graduating in 1982. Stacey married Mack Murrell on May 9, 2009. Their story is a true love story. They made Ranchland Hills Jonestown, Texas their home in 2012 after they both retired from Dow. Stacey held various positions at Dow, two of them being Team Leader of Information Systems Assistants and Executive Assistant to the CFO.

Stacey's love and zest for life was always on display. She was everyone's ray of sunshine, life of the party, fashion extraordinaire, and cheerleader in life.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, stepmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend. The pride and joy of her life is her only daughter, Shannon Breecher. She cherished being Mimi to her grandchildren.

Stacey is survived by husband Mack Murrell; Mother Barbara Judd; daughter Shannon (Adam) Breecher; stepchildren Adam (Ayoung) Murrell; Phillip (Ian) Murrell, Stephanie (Jake) Dykstra; grandchildren Blake, Leia, Benny, Appollo, Madison, Jane, and Adam; sister Shelley (Jeremy) Zehnder; brother Jeffrey (Ann) Judd; stepsister Margaret (Elizabeth) Chapman, nieces and nephews Natalie (Mike) Hensel, Alex (Jeff) Jones, Wyatt and Sawyer Judd, Corey, Chad, Alyssa, Brent, Shelly, Troy, and Clint Murrell, Denise Guadiano and James Yeager; brother-in-law Bill (Terry) Murrell; sisters-in-law Barbara Murrell and Fran Marino.

Stacey is predeceased by her father Lawrence Judd; brothers-in-law Russell Murrell and Howard Murrell.

Stacey will be missed by all of those who love her so much.

Two memorial services are planned. Monday March 13 th at Villa Antonia 19039 Adrian Way, Jonestown, TX 78645. Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Celebration of life will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The second service is Monday March 20 th at Hopevale Church 4873 N. Center Rd, Saginaw, MI 48608. Service will be at 11:00 a.m., visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Mike Garner will officiate both services.
