Theresa Pawlowski

Frankenmuth, MI

Went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, October 31, 2024, peacefully at her home; age 82 years.  Theresa Stricker was born on December 6, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Anthony and Carmen Stricker. She was married to Donald Pawlowski; he predeceased her on October 19, 2022. She owned and operated Pewter Kingdom for 25 years. Theresa was a member of Vassar Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting with her quilting group. Mostly she enjoyed spreading her love for Jesus and loving on her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are children Kristine (Rick) McInerney of Frankenmuth, Michigan, Bill (Amy) Booth of Midland, Michigan, Robyn (Ben) Weiss of Frankenmuth; stepchildren Reggie (Treva) Pawlowski of Lakeland, Florida, and Lisa Pawlowski of Au Gres, Michigan, grandchildren Kyle Mikolaizyk, Michael McInerney, Alyson Booth, Claire (Nathan) Farrell, Elijah Weiss, Carter Weiss, and Travis Pawlowski; great grandchildren Reagan Booth, Harper Booth, Mia Farrell, and Sadie Farrell; brothers and sisters Cecelia Jones, James (Dora) Stricker, Robert (Janie) Stricker, Susie Torrez, Tim Stricker; sisters-in-law Alice Stricker, Carol Stricker, Ida Stricker; step-siblings Anselmo Zarazua, Justo Zarazua, Daniel Zarazua, Santiago Zarazua, Aleandra Sochanek, and Lupe Carstens.

Theresa was predeceased by her brothers Anthony Stricker, Joseph Stricker, and Stephen Stricker, Brothers-in-law Dan Torrez and Willis Jones, and son-in-law Joseph Mikolaizyk.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Vassar Baptist Church, 5880 Frankenmuth Rd. Vassar, MI 48768. Rev. Tony Barber will officiate. Theresa's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Monday, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Vassar Baptist Church.
