Valerian Nowak

Beloved husband and brother passed away to his heavenly home on April 27, 2025; age 82 years. Son of the late Edward and Pelagia (Blazejewski) Novak. Val was born on December 17, 1942 in Saginaw, Michigan. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. Val married Alice Loesel on May 15, 1971, she passed away on December 19, 2008. Val later married Delores (Dee) Evans on August 13, 2011. She survives him. Val was a master mechanic for VW. He was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church and for years was on the decorating committee. Val loved fishing, golfing, camping, and his winter home in Florida.

Surviving besides his wife Dee are his sister Joyce (Bob) Wiese; sisters-in-law Nancy Novak, Barbara Novak, and Elaine Loesel; brother-in-law Ron (Gayle) Loesel; 3 stepchildren Bradley (Tina) Evans, Brian Evans, and Bridget (Mike) Windy and 2 step grandsons Tyler and Dylan Evans and several nieces and nephews.

Val was preceded in death by 2 brothers Paul Novak and Ray Novak, and brother-in-law Art Loesel.

Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Pastor Kaiser will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Val's family will receive visitors at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Decorating Committee or DAV (Disabled American Veterans).
