Viola Dietzel

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Wellspring Lutheran Home, Frankenmuth; age 102 years. Viola was born on August 10, 1923 in Bay City, MI to the late Gottlieb and Caroline Weiss. Viola was married to Glen Dietzel, he predeceased her on January 27, 2008.

Surviving are son Henry (Christine) Dietzel of Somerset KY, and daughter Gloria (Larry) Boensch of Birch Run, MI; grandchildren Paul (Kathy) Dietzel, Kevin (Megan Flynn) Dietzel, Michael Boensch, and Rashelle (Zach Slusser) Boensch; three great grandchildren Elaina, Alexis, and Hannah, and many nieces and nephews.

Viola was preceded in death by two brothers Richard (Elva) Weiss and Erwin Weiss.

Funeral Service will take place on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St., Frankenmuth, Michigan. Burial to take place at St. Lorenz Cemetery. Viola's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
