Vivian Trinklein

Fenton, MI

Vivian went to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Provision Living Fenton. She was 94 years old. Vivian was born on April 4, 1930 to Linwood and Ella Gilbert in Richmond, Virginia. She was married to Robert Trinklein on July 9, 1955; he predeceased her on April 5, 2020.

Vivian was a woman devoted to her family and her Lord. She got her nursing degree from the University of Virginia Nursing College, and although her career was relatively short, these nursing ideals permeated her whole life. She was active in church work, primarily Ladies' Aid and women's bible study group. She was civically active as she supported Rotary and AAL projects in partnership with Bob. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren enjoyed her loving attention and boundless energy. Walking, listening to music, reading, were some of her most favored activities. She grew to be an "Old Woman" who truly endeavored to enjoy life.

She leaves here on Earth three children John (Sue) Trinklein, Anne (Dan) Dinsmore, Mark Trinklein, as well as five grandchildren Jason (Lauren) Dinsmore, Emily (Michael) Eldridge, James (Jess) Trinklein, Wayne Trinklein, Katie (Greg) Trinklein.  She was additionally blessed with eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Vivian's family will receive visitors in the narthex of the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.
