Wayne Jackman

Frankenmuth, MI

Went home with his Lord on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Covenant Medical Center; age 89 years. Wayne was born on December 8, 1933 in Lawrenceburg, IN to the late William and Anne Jackman. Wayne honorably served in the U.S. Army as a heavy weapon specialist. Wayne married Patricia Siterlet on May 4, 1957. He worked at Superfoods until his retirement and then worked at The Fortress until 2021. Wayne was a member of Frankenmuth United Methodist Church, and past President of the Frankenmuth Lions Club. He loved golf, making it a passion in retirement. Wayne also enjoyed playing cards with his close friends.

Surviving besides his wife Patricia are two sons Dave Jackman of Birch Run, MI, and Craig (Cheryl) Jackman of Altamont, IL; three grandchildren Griffen, Cameron and Rachel Jackman; two brothers and one sister Terry Jackman, Mike (Ruth) Jackman and Patti Jackman.

Besides his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by two sons Gregory Jackman, and Don Jackman.

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Rev. Bruce Malicoat will officiate. Cremation to follow. Wayne's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Frankenmuth United Methodist Church.
