William A. Abraham

Bridgeport, MI

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Covenant Health Care Harrison; age 84 years. Bill was born on April 16, 1941, to the late Arnold and Myra Abraham. He was married to Joanne Techentien on May 25, 1963, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church; she survives him.

Bill attended Frankenmuth High School, Class of 1959. He was involved in all the sports in school. Bill was a Boy Scout and later a Scout Leader. He worked for his dad at The Frankenmuth Woolen Mill and was later employed by General Motors as a pipe fitter until retiring after 41 years. Bill was a lifelong member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, where he loved to sing. He was an active member of both the Frankenmuth and Richville Conservation Clubs for many years. He enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, snowmobiling, canoeing, deer hunting, and playing Euchre.

Surviving besides his wife Joanne are: son Dan (Chris Fife) Abraham; granddaughter Alexandra (Cody); brother and sisters Martha (Larry) Huber, Tom (Nancy) Abraham, Kathy Zeilinger; many nieces and nephews; his good friends The Schminks; and many other good friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his two sons, Steve and Mike Abraham and brother-in-law Gary Zeilinger.

Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Bill's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
