William "Bill" Parrish Jr.

Hemlock, MI formerly of Frankenmuth

Passed away peacefully Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Covenant Medical Center; age 91 years. William was born on March 29, 1930 in Flint, MI to the late William Sr. and Dorothy Parrish.   Bill was married to Rose Marie, she predeceased him in 2011. Bill honorably served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked for the United States Postal Service for 33 years until his retirement. Bill was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.

Surviving are three daughters Karen (Gary) Nephew of Frankenmuth, MI, Kathleen (Norman) Wade of Hemlock, MI, Kim (Rich) Ball of Concord, MI; seven grandchildren; 1 great grandson; and 1 sister Suzanne Brom.

Besides his wife Rose Marie, Bill was preceded in death by one son William Louis Parrish III; one grandson Christopher William Wade; one brother and two sisters.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola Rd., Frankenmuth, Michigan. Fr. Patrick Jankowiak will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Saginaw. Bill's family will receive visitors at church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church or the U.S. Armed Forces Retirement Home at Gulfport, Mississippi.
