Went to be with her Lord Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Covenant Glen of Frankenmuth; age 96 years. Wilma Poellet was born in Birch Run Township on December 26, 1921 to the late Ludwig and Ella Poellet. She was married to Rudolph Reinbold on July 22, 1944 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Frankentrost; he predeceased her in 1999. During World War II, she worked for the war effort inspecting airplane parts. She was later employed at Bronner's Christmas Wonderland. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, their Ladies' Aid and enjoyed bowling, cards and being with her family. Wilma also volunteered at Bethesda Thrift Shop.
Surviving Wilma are one son and one daughter: Jean Crawford of Frankentrost, MI and Wes (Carol) Reinbold, Frankentrost, MI; seven grandchildren; Ted (Debra) Reinbold, Angela Brendlinger, Amanda (Ray) Jokie, James (Cammie) Crawford, Michael (Beth) Reinbold, Erich (Amy) Reinbold, Heidi (Mike) Chapman; eleven great-grandchildren; one sister, Vita Reinbold, one sister-in-law, Lenore Poellet and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, Wilma was predeceased by a son, Tom Reinbold; one great-grandson, Jacob Brendlinger, and one brother, Clinton Poellet.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 8220 Holland Rd., Frankentrost, Michigan. Rev. Mark Loest will officiate with burial in St. John's Cemetery, Frankentrost. Wilma's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Wilma's family would like to thank the staff at Covenant Glen for the kind and loving care they gave Wilma. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Frankentrost.
